On-site registration for all participants

On your arrival at Takayama, please visit our registration desk on the 3rd floor of the venue at your earliest convenience. The LOC asks all partcipants including pre-registrants to register at the registration desk in the meeting venue. The registration desk will open during the time shown below.

The venue (Takayama-Shimin-Bunka-Kaikan) is located to the west of the Takayama JR station, on the opposite side of the main entrance. From the JR station, first you head to the north for about 150m, then turn left and go through the underpass of the railway. Turn left on the first signal after the underpass, then the venue is located about 250m to the south.

At the registration desk, we provide you a name badge, symposium program, and other symposium materials. Also we receive your payment for field trip lunch (JPY1,000) and reception (JPY9,000, students: JPY5,000).

Overseas invited speakers will receive per diem and/or reimbursement for the travel cost at the registration desk. Please keep your boarding passes since we need them for official process of your travel support.

 Registration for the international symposium of crustal dynamics 2016 is free of charge, and the registration form is available below on the website of the crustal dynamics 2016 international symposium. Field excursion and reception dinner need pre-registraion and charge. The registration form must be submitted to the following E-mail address by April 15, 2016.

Abstract submission

The abstracts will be printed on abstract volume of the crustal dynamics 2016 international symposium, and distributed to each participant on the first day (July 20th of 2016) of the symposium. Please e-mail your abstract to the following address by April 15, 2016. All abstracts must be submitted as an MS Word file according to the template posted below.

All the contributors must choose either oral or poster presentations at the time of abstract submission. Only computer presentations using software such as MS PowerPoint and Adobe Reader are accepted for oral presentations. The organizing committee reserves the right to select oral presentations and shift some presentations to the poster session. The number of poster presentations is not limited, and the poster format will be announced in June.

The organizer has the plan to publish scientific results of the symposium as a special volume in Earth Planets and Space. The further information will be announced in this webpage.

Abstract submission was closed on April 20, 2016. We have over 120 abstracts. Our reply to recieving of your submission is delayed due to technical problems. Thank you for your patience.
